CORSHAM CC Wildcats could be the team to keep an eye out for in the top flight of the Chippenham & District Sunday League this season.

With Bradford United’s hotshot striker Sam Jordan now playing for the cricketers, they could prove to be serious challenges to Castle’s defence of the title, especially if his first outing for his new team mates is anything to go by as the prolific striker bagged a five-timer in the Wildcats 6-1 win at FC Constitutional last weekend.

Jordan’s double put the Wildcats 2-0 up before Ben Leslie pulled a goal back for the Cons, only for the striker to net a third before half-time.

After the break, Jordan took his tally to five with two more and Chay Forester’s strike made up the half-dozen.

In a game of very few clear-cut chances, a second half goal from Craig Hatton-Pocklington earned White Horse A the narrowest of 1-0 victories away at old adversaries Somerford FC.
