AFTER defeats in their opening two matches, Melksham-based Evana Designs made it third time lucky as they overturned a 2-1 interval deficit at home to fellow new boys Cannings Rangers to claim a 3-2 success.

Cameron Lee and Richard Mansell found the net for Cannings and Jacob Applegate for Evana in an even first 45 minutes.

Applegate dragged his team level in the second half and the 18-year-old won it with his third.

Cavalier added a second win of the season as they beat Buttercross FC 3-0, with two goals from Anthony Butler and Dave Young’s first-ever goal for the club.

Newcomers Club 54 were 5-1 winners over Corsham Park, Aaron Seviour’s hat-trick and goals from Craig Brown and Colin Brady doing teh damage as Steve Ball replied.

Stonewood Sundays BFC came out on top in their meeting with FC Bradford, with a 3-1 win that took them to the top of the table.

Kris Beasley scored twice and Mike Hopkins netted from the penalty spot after Tom Rooney had got Bradford back into it.

Ten-man London Road FC were walloped 21-0 at home by FC Lacock, whose player-manager Ryan Ross netted eight times.

Josh Hard and Corey Williams both scored hat tricks and Jordan O’Dywer, Ryan Banks, Rory Davis, Kieron Witchard , Kieran Hand, Toby Wells and an own goal completed the rout.

A 6-1 victory for Trowbridge Wanderers at home to Westbury Conservative Club saw Matt Rusling’s side claim their first win of the season, Jack Parker twice, Elliott Hinton, two from Natty Mills and Tom Mann their scorers as Lee Causon scored the consolation.
