WARMINSTER ended a run of three straight defeats to notch their first success of the league campaign.
An impressive first-half display saw Herbeline Biscette latch on to Jason Sprangle’s chip to gallop under the posts, Sprangle adding the conversion.
A Sprangle penalty stretched the advantage and the game then went to uncontested scrums following a Blandford front row injury.
The amber and blues, who handed a first-team debut to 17 year old Jake Havery at full back, added a second try through centre Dan Lee, again under the posts for Sprangle to convert.
Lee then powered over for his second, again converted, for a 24-0 interval lead.
The bonus-point score eluded the home side, Dean Priestman blowing the best chance after intercepting but being carried over the dead ball line by a defender.
They then lost flanker Luke Windsor to the sin-bin, Blandford taking advantage to score their first try.
With just five minutes left Blandford added a further unconverted score, but the amber blues held out
