TREVOR Rawlings was left to rue two dropped points as Corsham Town had to settle for a midweek draw at Wells City.
Corsham, who were 1-0 winners at home to Roman Glass St George on Saturday, twice led at the Athletic Ground but were pegged back on each occasion.
Levi Cox’s overhead put Town in front in the first half, while Ryan Tyrell found the net in the second. “I was looking for six points this week, so I think it was two dropped on Tuesday,” said Rawlings.
“In the first half we should have had four or five goals. We battered them but missed a host of chances.
“I said to the lads at half-time ‘don’t let that cost you’, and it did.
“Midweek kick-offs at 7.30pm are a nightmare for us. It was a case of getting there and changing, so we didn’t have a warm-up.
“We looked a bit leggy in the second half, so I don’t know if that cost us.”
Corsham take a break from league action on Saturday and travel to Laverstock & Ford in the Wiltshire Cup quarter-finals.
