AFTER their stunning 7-3 victory over Rowdy Cow Rowde last weekend, Tim Knight’s Miller Sports B would have still been basking in their glory when they visited second division basement side White Horse B.

They would have also been wary of a home team who were looking to open their account for the season.

White Horse may not have got the win they were after but a 2-2 draw will be well received as it gave them a deserved point from a game they so nearly won.

Richard Moules saw his opener for Miller cancelled out by Adam Griggs who scored from the penalty spot after Matt Crosnier had been fouled.

White Horse regained the lead on the hour mark, substitute Rhys Fricker volleying on his debut to put his team 2-1 up.

With 15 minutes remaining Miller won themselves a penalty and Brendan Knight held his nerve to score from the spot to square things up at two apiece.

Both teams had chances to win the game, Steve Oakley saw his in swinging corner rattle the crossbar for White Horse and Mike Stevens blasted over from close range when he had the opportunity to win it for Miller Sports.

Melksham Forest Community Centre’s trip to Buckley Barracks ended in an 11-0 loss at the hands on a rampant Oakhill FC side whose thumping victory saw them avenge their 5-4 defeat from earlier in the season.

Goals from Clint Couzes, Joe Courts with his first in two years, Robbie Burton, Jordan Tarrant and Tom Webb put Oakhill in complete control at the break.

A first-ever goal for Kieran Willis, two for Callum Eacott and another two for Jordan Tarrant that saw him complete his hat trick plus a second of the morning for Burton made up the Oakhill tally.
