FROME Town boss Adrian Foster insists that his players must stick together after coming out on the wrong end of their ‘six-pointer’ against Arlesey Town last weekend.

The Robins slipped to 20th in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division and were leapfrogged by their Bedfordshire opponents after suffering a 3-2 defeat at Badgers Hill on Saturday.

Foster also says that he sympathised with third-choice goalkeeper Lewis Pierre, who was lobbed by Hallelujah Basmel, spilled George Ironton’s cross into his own net and conceded a penalty to allow Ironton to net his second of the game.

Ollie Taylor and Cameron Brown found the net for Frome but Kris Miller had a first half penalty beaten away by Arlesey goalie Nick Thomson.

“We’re just missing something at the moment but we’ve got to stay together and keep working hard,” said the Robins boss.

“It was a six-pointer and it’s disappointing that we’ve got nothing from it. I felt for Lewis because he’s been playing at Cadbury Heath but he hadn’t had a game in weeks.”
