THE ONLY fixture Premier Division at the weekend saw AFC Melksham take on Somerford at their Christie Miller base and for Mike Rogers' hosts, they followed up their 2-0 win over the Castle last Thursday by moving into second place.
A thumping 11-0 success saw them climb up behind Prestige Bodyworks, with Sean Fordham, who scored both goals against Castle in midweek, striking a five-timer, which took his tally for the season to 26, five clear of nearest rival Adam O’Keeffe in their battle for the golden boot.
James Dark helped himself to a quartet and a goal each for Jack Morris and Tony McElhone made up the 11.
