THE Trowbridge Seniors match at LaFarge was won by John Blackmore, from Lavington, took top spot with 45 lb 8 oz of carp and bream, writes COLIN SCULL.
Ken Gingell, from Trowbridge, took second prize with 41 lb of carp and bream, followed by Gordon Hayward, from Lavington, with 38 lb 8 oz.
Other placings: 4. Roger Green Trowbridge 35 lb 8 oz; 5. Bernie Ryan Devizes 26 lb 4 oz; 6. Alfie Sparks Melksham 25 lb 8 oz.
The Kennet & Avon Canal at Airsprung hosted the Airsprung Evening match where Dean Adams, from Bradford, with 6 lb 13 oz of roach and skimmers.
Richard Whitmarsh, from Frome, was next with 5 lb 8 oz of roach and skimmers and Oliver Keates, from Hilperton, was third with 5 lb 2 oz of roach and skimmers.
Other placings: 4. Bill Turner Trowbridge 4 lb 15 oz; 5. Dave Morrison Trowbridge 3 lb 9 oz; 6. Tony Yates Trowbridge 1 lb 5 oz.
