WILTSHIRE showjumper Jessica Mendoza has been included in Great Britain's squad of five for the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona later this month.
Tockenham's Mendoza and mare Spirit T are included by world class showjumping performance manager Di Lampard, along with Joe Clee, Ben Maher, Laura Renwick and Michael Whittaker for the event which takes place between September 24-27.
Mendoza was last month part of the British team that secured their place at next year's Rio Olympic Games at the FEI European Championships, in Aachen, Germany.
At the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, a total of 18teams plus the home team if not already qualified will all be eligible to compete in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final.
The final consists of three competitions. The top eight teams from the opening class will go forward to the third and final competition on Saturday whilst the remainder will compete in the Challenge Cup which will be held on the Friday.
