BEN Redford’s Bremhill View side opened their Division One campaign with a thumping 8-1 victory over local rivals North Star A.

So when the teams met in the reverse fixture, Mark Clark’s Star side had revenge on their mind. however like the first meeting it was Bremhill who were victorious but their 3-1 win was much closer than their previous encounter.

Jake Gleed put Bremhill in front but his opener was cancelled out by Declan Blandford whose well-struck free kick restored parity.

Kieron Gleed regained the lead for Bremhill prior to the interval and after the break a second for Jake Gleed made certain that Bremhill beat their rivals for a second time in five weeks.

A 5-1 victory for Calne BFC at home to FC Pig & Whistle earned them their first league win of the campaign and left their opponents fixed to the foot of the table and winless in three.
