WAYNE Duggan’s FC Bradford suffered another blow to their Division Two promotion hopes and once again they only have themselves to blame.

Leading 3-1  at the interval and with a man advantage for the final 20 minutes, they allowed Corsham Oak to stage a great fightback and snatch a 4-3 win.

Mike Wilkins, who saw red on 70 minutes for Corsham, gave them the lead, but thanks to goals from Mark Robinson, Adil Bakali and Jimmy Meade, Bradford took control of the game.

Dan Purser got Corsham back in the game and his second of the morning tied things at three apiece before Wilkins got his marching orders.

But that didn’t dampen their spirits and with a minute left as Mitch May played in Darren Applegate who kept his calm and calmly beat the Bradford keeper to give Martin Perrett’s side their first win in four matches.

FC Lacock had a comfortable 5-1 home win against Christian Malford who had to play most of the game with 10 men.

Lacock’s first goal was a little fortunate as Malford’s keeper had saved Jack Woolsgrove’s first attempt but the ball cannoned back to the Lacock defender for him to give Lacock a 1-0 lead after two minutes.

After 10 minutes Malford hit back when Ashley Fletcher’s low shot deceived the Lacock keeper to draw Malford level at 1-1.

However it took Lacock only a further two minutes to regain the lead when Keiran Hard scored his first of the day with a strong low shot out of the keeper’s reach.

Malford who had only managed to field 11 players then lost a defender and had to play the remaining game with 10.

Lacock soon took advantage and after 20 minutes Keiran Hard scored his second with another fine goal after beating defenders to give them a 3-1 lead.

After 60 minutes Joshua Hard gave Lacock a 4-1 lead with a well-taken goal. Malford’s defence continued to resolutely hold the Lacock attacks until Keiran Hard completed his hat-trick with another well-taken goal on 85 minutes which gave Lacock a 5-1 advantage.

After taking the lead through David Biggs, FC North Wiltshire woke a sleeping giant in Grapes United who came to life after their early wake up call with nine unanswered goals to run out 9-1 winners.

Nick Ridout scored the opening two goals for the Grapes and he completed his first-half treble after Tom Robinson and Stuart Barber had netted.

Barber added a further two in the second half to claim his hat-trick, but Ridout wasn’t to be outdone as he bagged himself another two that took his tally for the game to five and the season to six in three games.

Lavington Rangers came to the rescue of opponents Oakhill, who are no longer allowed to use Buckley Barracks as their home venue, the guests winning 5-3.

Goals from Jordan Tarrant, who was later sent off with Lavington’s Ali Bradley, Josh Beard from the penalty spot, substitute Nick Benson and Robbie Burton put Oakhill 4-0 in front before Lavington staged a brave comeback.

Jamie Hall scored a hat-trick to get them within the odd goal, but his efforts proved to be in vain as Tom Webb bagged a killer fifth goal for Oakhill to stop the Lavington revival and seal Oakhill’s win.

Miller Sports' Jamie Hutton and Old Road’s Will Green stepped in to save the day in the absence of a match referee.

Each refereed a half in a game that Miller won 8-3.

Ben Cooper top scored with five Miller goals, Brendan Knight, Harry Waylan and a Jake Collins own goals made up the winners' tally.

Matt Poole with two and Matt Croston replied for an Old Road side who due to injuries played the final 20 minutes with nine men.

Sutton Benger consolidated their second place in the standings thanks to a  5-0 triumph over The Mallard FC.  Chris Casey scored the first and last goal for Benger with Rhys Merriman, Nathan Todd and Marc Edwards finding the net in-between Casey’s double.
