THE only Division One fixture that survived the elements saw Calne BFC host local rivals Bremhill View FC in a match that lived up to the a game of two halves tag, as Bremhill overturned a 3-0 half-time deficit to run out 5-3 winners.
Calne started the game brilliantly and played some of their best football so far this season which saw them go in at half time with a healthy three-goal lead thanks to two goals from Paul Green, one a stunning drive and the other a header and one sublime strike from Nathan West.
Jake Gleed started the fightback and goals from Kieron Gleed and Alex Lewis squared things up at three each.
A second from Kieron Gleed put Bremhill 4-3 up and the fantastic comeback was completed when Gleed netted his third of the morning to seal an amazing 5-3 win for Ben Redford’s side.
