WILTSHIRE School of Gymnastics’ Jessica Daykin has been selected for the 2016 women’s artistic squad.
The 14-year-old, from Littleton Panell will join the squad for three days at a time at the Rushmoor Gymnastics Academy in Aldershot.
Wiltshire School competitors earned success at the South West National & Compulsory Grades event.
In Compulsory Grade Five, eight-year-old Alexa Evans, of Melksham, was second and achieved a distinction in her first such competition, 10-year-old Violet Browne, from Trowbridge, finished third with a distinction at grade three.
At grade one, Melksham 13-year-old Nicole Parsons was third with a distinction, Browne and Parsons now going on to represent the South West at the National Finals competition in Stoke.
