Melksham Town A took the first points of the season from Division Two champions Westbury Town, coming back from 3-2 down at half time to win 4-3.

In doing so, Melksham moved up to second place to  all but secure promotion to Division One.

Westbury took the lead with a penalty, Ryan Earney's first effort being saved by Nick Evans but Earney comfortably slotting home the rebound.

Melksham then missed a spot kick through Sean Fordham but were level when defender Brad Butcher put the ball on a plate for Callum Demkiv to finish from close range.

Danny Harrison diverted the ball into his own net to give Westbury the lead again and Kyle Mattthews flicked the ball home at the near post to make it 3-1.

Fordham struck well from the edge of the box to reduce arreas and, in the second half, the strike partnership of 16 year old Rhys Talmash and 17 year old Callum Demkiv continued to cause problems for the Westbury defence.

Demkiv stole the show with two more goals to complete a fine hat-trick,
