CORSHAM Centre Youth visited Somerford for their penultimate game of the season.
The hosts needed a victory to keep their hopes of a Division One runners up spot alive, but their chances were ended as a Centre side, who had already clinched the title weeks ago, claimed a 3-2 win.
James Lye and Dan King put the Centre 2-0 ahead, but the hosts were given hope when Chris Cox halved the deficit before half time.
After the break Dan King added his second for the Centre to make it 3-1 and although Ashley Monaghan’s penalty gave Somerford hope of staging a revival his goal was just a consolation.
