ROWDY Cow Rowde chalked up their first league win of the season in the Shoestrings Chargrill-sponsored Chippenham & District Sunday League Premier Division courtesy of a 5-3 success over a Bath Road outfit who are still looking for their first points of the campaign.

A brace from Joe Merritt and a Steven House single helped Rowde to a 3-1 interval lead, with Terry Askew getting on the scoresheet for Bath Road with his first goal for the club.

Ben Tylee added a fourth for Rowde before Road got back in the contest with two quick goal from Quinn Tarawali and Ryan Armstrong.

However they were unable to complete the comeback as Jamie Walters opened his account for Rowde to seal their victory.

With Somerford in Knockout Cup action, Bremhill View made the most of their opportunity to move level on nine points with their rivals and claim a share of the top spot.

A 13-0 home win over a depleted White Horse (Sunday) A saw them claim a third straight win.

White Horse, who had 15 players available on Saturday night, were let down by five as only 10 turned up at Calne for their clash with an in-form Bremhill side.

Billy Gleed with two, Alex Lewis, Kieron Gleed, who was sent off prior to half time, and Mark Dolman put the hosts 5-0 up at the break.

Billy Gleed took his tally to five with three second-half goals. Dolman scored a further two to complete a hat-trick and Jamie Crump, Rory Worthington and Tom Sigee shared the others.
