CHIPPENHAM & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE KNOCKOUT CUP: Pheasant take flight
FIRST Division Pheasant will face Cavalier next weekend in the second round of this season’s AM Print & Copy sponsored Knockout Cup after an 8-1 victory saw them overpower second division Mallard FC.
Michael Brett’s goal saw Mallard lead, but it was a false dawn as Richie Bolter’s double and goals from Josh Legg and Nick Manifold put Pheasant 4-1 up at the break.
Josh Legg added a further two in the second half to complete a hat-trick, Callum Chamberlain and a second for Manifold made up the eight.
