THIRD Division side The Foresters Arms caused an upset in the AM Print & Copy sponsored Knockout Cup when dumping last year’s beaten finalist Semington out following a 7-1 success.

David Williams and Sean Horobin brace gave Foresters a 3-0 lead at the break. Horobin completed his hat-trick after the interval before James Dix turned the ball into his own net to make it 5-0.

After Horobin netted his fourth of the match Steve Sims pulled a goal back for high-flying second division visitors only for The Foresters’ hitman to complete the scoring with his fifth and book his team’s place in the quarter-finals.

Joining them in the last eight are holders Corsham CC Wildcats after they got a walkover win after Audley were unable to raise a side.

Third division pacesetters Box Rovers are also through after their 4-0 win over first division side FC Bradford with second half goals from Justin Flowers, Liam Fullam, Adam Taylor and Emilio Mudrak.

Mark Nolan’s second half strike for Somerford booked their place in the quarter-finals following a 2-1 win over first division outfit Corsham Oak, who took the lead through Adrian Webb before Will Stone levelled for the Premier Division men.

Bremhill View secured their passage following a 4-1 win over first division side Lavington Rovers. Strikes from Rory Worthington and Billy Gleed coupled with a Kieron Gleed double made up the quarter for Bremhill, while Cameron Lee was on target for Rangers.
