MELKSHAM Town and Bradford Town both secured their places in the fourth round of the FA Vase with victories at the weekend.
Darren Perrin’s Melksham scored twice in the final six minutes to come from 2-0 down at Bemerton Heath Harlequins and claim a 3-2 triumph.
Following a flying start by Heath, a Gary Higdon goal got Melksham back in the game, although they were still in arrears at half-time.
That was how it stayed until the closing stages when substitute Ricky Hulbert levelled the scores and the comeback was complete soon afterwards when Higdon netted the winner.
Meanwhile, Matthew Morris netted a first-half double as Bradford saw off Torpoint Athletic 2-0 at Trowbridge Road.
Danny Greaves’ side will host Southall in the fourth round on January 7, while Melksham travel to Bristol Manor Farm.
