WITH Box Rovers in Knockout Cup action, Faded were able to claim a share of pole position in Division Three and for the time being their better goal difference after a 10-2 win at Fox & Hounds (Warminster) puts them in the number one spot.

Goals from Adil Bakali (two), Matt Minnis and Dan Jones put them 4-1 up at the break, Greg Richardson finding the net for Fox & Hounds.

The second half saw Jamie Kinchin score a second for the Fox, but it counted for nothing as Nassem Abourachid’s treble, a second for Jones and two more from the prolific Minnis that completed his hat-trick made up Faded’s 10.

AFC Rowde ended a nine-match losing run with a 12-0 victory over fellow strugglers White Horse B and in doing so picked up their first win of the season.

Ben Winn and George Thomas with two apiece, Jamie Benson, Lewis Taylor and Callum Race scored their first goals for the club.

Ben Trebble added a further two and a goal each for Luke Thomson, Owen Thomson and Luke Whittard made up the 12.

Warminster Wanderers 7-1 victory at Forest AFC extended their unbeaten run to nine matches and moved them into third place in the table.

Brentley Roberts was on target for Forest, but his goal was just a consolation as Jamie Howse with a hat-trick led Wanderers' scorers.

Scott Howse went close to equaling his brother but could only manage a brace, Phil Lewis and Alex Bates added the others.

North Star Club suffered a first defeat in five matches after they were beaten 5-2 at home by local rivals Calne United.

A first goal of the season for Kieran Maidment dragged Calne level after Tom King had given North Star the upper hand.

After the break it was one-way traffic as Matt Fenn put Calne ahead on the way to scoring a hat-trick. Jordan Stewart added a fifth with Reece Allison scoring a late reply for the Star.
