TOOLSTATION First Division side Westbury United have announced they have parted ways with manager James Goddard and Karl Freeman .

Goddard’s side are currently 16th in the league standing but are without a win in their last five games.

A statement on the club’s website said they had come to a ‘difficult decision’ to release the pair.

It read:“Westbury United have come to the difficult decision to release James Goddard and Karl Freeman from their roles within the club.

“We thank them both for their dedication and hard work and wish them all the best for the future.”

The club are now actively seeking a replacement and encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch via chairman@westburyunited.co.uk.

Westbury have apologised for mis-spelling Freeman's name as Freement in their announcement of the managerial change.
