CHRISTIAN Malford remain in a five-way relegation dogfight after throwing away a two-goal lead at home to FC North Wiltshire, who turned things around to claim a 5-2 win.

Josh Duckett and Richard Tandy, with two goals each, and David Biggs single won it for North Wilts after Ashley Fletcher’s brace had put Malford in charge.

Cavalier FC gave up home advantage and travelled to Semington FC for a second time this season.

But unlike the first occasion, when they claimed a 2-1 success, they suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Ricky King’s side, whose win sees them replace Dursley Arms at the top of the table.

It was King himself who gave Semington the lead midway through the first half when he slotted the ball into the bottom corner after great work from Dan Rimmer.

Chris Dore made it 2-0 early in the second half, running onto his own flick and sliding home from a very tight angle.

Westbury Conservative Club saw their mini-revival of late come to an end with a 5-1 defeat at home to FC St George.

FC St George made a bright start and took the lead inside the opening minute with Craig Sheppard finding the net.

Ben Cooper levelled things up when he nodded home a free kick, however his goal was just a consolation as Paul Arnold regained the lead for St George and put them further ahead with his second of the morning.

Left-back Marc Self got his name of the scoresheet when it made it 4-1 at the break.

Westbury fared a lot better in the second half and were guilty of missing a few chances before Sheppard claimed his second to wrap up the 5-1 success.
