CHIPPENHAM Town have re-signed former Swindon Town midfielder Chris Allen.
The 28-year-old, who first joined the Bluebirds on loan from Bath City at the beginning of the 2015-16 season before making that move permanent three months later, but departed Hardenhuish Park for Weymouth in December last year.
However, Devizes-born Allen, who has also had spells with the likes Swindon Supermarine and Forest Green Rovers, has now returned to Chippenham ahead of their Southern League Premier Division title run-in.
The Bluebirds have also confirmed that young striker Jake Andrews, from Westbury, has extended his loan from Bristol City until the end of the season.
