TROWBRIDGE Wanderers Development and Greyhound locked horns at Wanderers Lambrok Road base and the hosts claimed the points thanks to a 2-1 victory.

Myles Woodward’s brilliant-individually taken goal gave Wanderers a 1-0 interval lead and Radek Jakiel’s second-half tap-in doubled the home team's advantage before Matt Hall pulled one back fro Greyhound.

Melksham Town B defeated South Newton & Wishford 5-0 to open up a four-point gap on the chasing pack.

Jack Woolsgrove, Dan Walker and Sam Robinson were on target in the first 45 minutes and Ollie Chappell and Dan Broom added the other two.

A 1-1 draw for Warminster Town A at home to Aces saw them pick up their first point of the season.

Matt Dyer’s goal midway through the first half gave Warminster a 1-0 lead which they held until the 89th minute when Nick Baldwin netted to earn Aces a share of the spoils.

Zeals and Heytesbury had to settle for a share of the spoils from their controversial 3-3 stalemate.

Zeals opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Joao Rodrigues' stunning long-range strike.

However their lead lasted just 60 seconds as Craig Shepperd was on hand to restore parity for Heytesbury.

Zeals regained the lead on 30 minutes when Dale Rowland scored from the penalty spot after his team were awarded a contentious spot kick.

Back came Heytesbury and a second from Sheppard levelled things up in the 33rd minute.

After the break, Heytesbury took the lead for the first time when Stephan Matthews headed home on 53 minutes and, after they had a penalty appeal turned down, Zeals responded as Aaron Carter netted the equaliser.
