MELKSHAM Town (Sunday) took maximum points from classic against FC Lacock as they won 4-3 after being 3-0 down to top the Premier Division.

Eddie Summers, Jordan O’Dwyer and Josh Hard had put Lacock well on top before Melksham staged their remarkable fightback, Jordan Kirk's penalty, James Dark and Ollie Gee squared things up at 3-3 before Kirk notched his second penalty of the game to hand them victory.

Somerford were denied a third straight league win as Westbury Rangers came from 4-1 and 5-3 down to claim a share of the spoils from a thrilling 5-5 draw.

Derek Wheeler got Rangers back on level terms after Matt Shape had given Somerford a sixth-minute lead.

Somerford regained the lead in the 43rd minute through another Shape effort and they were 4-1 up by the 64th minute courtesy of goals from Shape and Ethan Cox.

Quick-fire goals for Matt Mead and Wheeler got Rangers within a goal, but Sharpe put the villagers 5-3 ahead with his fourth of the morning.

Jake Packer’s goal on 76 minutes gave Rangers hope and the comeback was completed by Mead's second.
