OLD Road turned in an amazing performance at Kingfisher FC to beat the former Division Three leaders 8-2, the Fishermen's first defeat of the season.

James Eatough scored the first three for Old Road, his first being a cracking half volley.

Matt Poole made it 4-1 before Chris Cox scored the first of his two goals for the Fishermen.

A fourth from Eatough completed the first-half scoring.

After the break Poole netted twice to claim a hat trick and Zak Sallows added the eighth.

Biddestone lost out 3-0 at Sporting Box, Joel Gregory with a brace and Adam Greeves' single seeing Box to victory.

Fox & Hounds (Warminster) moved into fourth place thanks to a 4-3 victory at The Mallard who were 3-2 up at the break.

Mallard led on three occasions through goals from Simon Hargrave, Adam Foskett and Dave Lazenby, in between times penalties for Justin Precce and Chikiah Selassie getting Fox & Hounds in the game.

Myles Woodward restored parity for a third time before he netted his second and Fox’s winner.

White Hart FC continue to struggle for players and their latest outing saw them manage to field just nine men for their game with high-flying Buttercross who romped to a 14-2 win to go top.

Scott Nash scored four in a first half that also saw Josh Beard twice, Kieran Tarrent and Jordan Tarrent find the net.

Ben Hibberd bagged himself a second-half hat-trick with singles for Harry Myles, Nathan Merrett and Josh Legg making up the 14. Steve Browning and Dan Gregory replied for White Hart.
