BRENTLEY Roberts was the star of the show for Forest AFC who, thanks to a 4-3 win over Warminster Wanderers have given themselves a huge chance of beating the drop from Division Two.
Forest took the lead at the interval through a Roberts goal. Wanderers rallied in the second half and although George Pawling, Alex Bates and Jordan Pinder all netted it wasn’t enough as Rob Brown and two further goals from Roberts, taking his tally for the season to 19, won it for Forest.
Calne United avenged their earlier 5-4 defeat to The Foresters Arms when they won 3-2.
George Dolman’s first-half double put Calne 2-1 up at the break with Sean Horobin netting for the Foresters who got themselves back on level terms early in the second half though a Will Thomson penalty.
Callum Horne’s deflected drive won all three points for the hosts.
