WITH Buttercross playing in the Sunday Cup, Kingfisher FC missed out on their chance to top the table after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Old Road FC.
Paul Mannings headed in from a corner to give Kingfisher the lead which they held until late in the first half when Zak Sallows' shot deflected in off Mike Murden.
Bromham, playing their first game in a month, returned to action against Sporting Box and claimed a hard-fought 3-2 success.
Sporting Box led twice through goals from Joe Lewis and James Weymouth, before being pegged back, Luke Child making it 1-1 and then Jon Woods levelling for 2-2 before Joe Tinnion notched the 87th-minute winner for Bromham.
