WILTSHIRE'S James Vince and Liam Dawson have been named in England's 16-man squad to take part in next month's Twenty20 Tri-series against Australia and New Zealand
Steeple Ashton's Vince, who has been part of England's Ashes Test squad this winter will stay on tour for the mini-tournament, which begins in Hobart on February 7.
His Hampshire colleague Dawson, from Calne, was overlooked for the Ashes, but was a member of the England squad that finished as runners up in the ICC World T20 last year.
The former Goatacre player has been playing T20 cricket in Bangladesh this winter.
England's Test captain Joe Root will take part, but Moeen Ali and Jonny Bairstow will both be rested.
As expected, it also contains Ben Stokes - although his participation remains unlikely while his wait continues to hear whether he will be charged with causing actual bodily harm in a fracas outside a Bristol nightclub on September 25.
Batsman Dawid Malan, another Ashes mainstay set to play in the ODIS as well, is also in the Twenty20 squad.
Chairman of selectors James Whitaker said: "Our aim is to become the best Twenty20 side in the world, and a strong performance in this series will give us the chance to progress up the team rankings.
