WITH Holt crowned as Division Two champions following the recent withdrawal of South Newton & Wishford from the league, Heytesbury strengthened their grip on second place with an 8-1 win at Trowbridge Wanderers Development.
Ashley Kinkead’s 25-yard free kick gave Heytesbury a 10th-minute lead which was doubled as Craig Sheppard tapped in for 2-0.
Myles Woodward pulled a goal back for Wanderers, before Jamie Howse made it 3-1.
Sheppard added the next three goals and Bradley Edwards rifled home from 30 yards before Sheppard set up Howse for his second of the game.
Zeals and Aces shared six goals.
Jordan Lynk saw his opener for Zeals cancelled out by Mike Little.
A quick-fire double from Ik Ichiebuka and Oli Cole put Zeals 3-1 up but Phil Little reduced arrears and namesake Mike fashioned a leveller.
