WILTSHIRE Junior Cup holders Luxol St Andrews kept their dreams of lifting the cup again alive after they beat Swindon side Ruby Removals in the semi-finals.

Three up after 10 minutes and 4-2 up at the break, Jordan Gullis' side book their spot in April’s final thanks to a 5-2 success.

Ruby, who has scored 107 games in their 13 league matches to date, fell behind to a Mark Reynolds free kick and were 2-0 down when Tom Rooney headed home a Jordan Gullis cross.

With barely 10 minutes on the clock, Nick Taylor followed up his own shot to calmly round the keeper and slot home for 3-0.

Luxol conceded from a corner, before they managed to move 4-1 ahead when Kieran Hard scored from a swift counter-attack.

A long-range shot into the bottom right corner gave Ruby a glimmer of hope at 4-2.

But in the second half Taylor broke clear and scored Luxol’s fifth to book a final spot against another Swindon & District League side Tawny Owl, who were 7-1 winners over Redlynch & Woodfalls United.
