CALNE United picked up what could prove to be a massive three points in their battle to remain in Division Two for another season.

Pete Horne’s side hosted fellow relegation battlers Forest AFC and a 5-2 win moved them three points clear of the drop zone.

George Dolman, Rich Traini, Tony Hurkett, James House and Sorin Cosmin, whose penalty opened the scoring, shared Calne’s goals. Brentley Roberts with his 25th goal of the season and Callum Grant replied for Forest.

Following the shock midweek withdrawal from the league by The Castle Devizes, Faded are favourites along with current leaders Box Rovers for promotion.

However, Faded's aspirations suffered a setback after they were held to a 2-2 draw by The Foresters Arms, who came from 2-0 down to claim a share of the spoils.

Faded deservedly led 1-0 at the break through a wonderful Matt Hall goal. Kieran Palmer came off the bench to add a second for Faded but David Williams' magical 35-yard free kick reduced arrears and a defensive error led to Sean Horobin restoring parity.

Warminster Wanderers had to dig deep to claim a 3-2 victory at basement side FC Libby who led twice before surrendering all three points to the visitors to Awdry Avenue.

Steve Badger saw his first-half effort for Libby cancelled out by Jamie Howse. Radu Pandelica regained the lead for Libby but it wasn’t to be for the hosts as goals from Jordan Pinder and Adam Gough won it for Warminster.
