The villagers, who had lost just one game all season, needed just a point from their game with White Hart but duly obliged with a 9-1 win against their nine-man opponents.

Ryan Bole’s hat-trick meant that he topped the division goalscoring charts with 26. Eddie Summers also scored three, Jack Angell netted twice and Dan Mercer completed the win. Richard Chaffey replied for White Hart.

Fox & Hounds (Warminster) were already guaranteed a fourth-place finish - their best ever since they joined the league in 2015 - ahead of their final game of the season at home to The Mallard who they beat 7-1.

Mark Davies, Chikian Salassie, Justin Preece, Drew Eglin, Darrell Hitchcock and two from Alan Hitchcock did the damage. Brett Fairclough replied.
