BRADFORD Town have begun the hunt for a new manager after Danny Greaves' sudden departure to Southern League Frome Town today.

Greaves was confirmed as the new boss of the Robins after a hugely successful two years at Trowbridge Road, where he guided Bradford to their two consecutive highest finishes in the Toolstation League Premier Division, as well as an extended run in the FA Vase last season.

Frome Town chairman Jeremy Alderman said: “We are delighted to have Danny on board. We have been very impressed by his attitude, ambition and will to succeed throughout the interview process. We wish Danny the very best, as the excitement builds for the season ahead.”

Football & Operations Director Gary Collinson added. “We have a forward-thinking plan at Frome Town FC on and off the pitch.

"Having Danny on board adds to our culture of developing talent throughout the club, no matter what level.

"Danny’s ambition and desire will be welcomed by all involved with the club and I can’t wait to start working together”.

Greaves posted on social media: "I would like to thank everyone connected with @BradfordTownFc for an unbelievably enjoyable 2 yrs.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time, met some great people and friends.

"Special thanks to @mthuk2002 (Bradford chairman Mark Hodkinson) for all the support during my time at the club.''
