CHIPPENHAM Town have lost the services of Darren Mullings after the midfielder chose to join Southern League Premier Division side Salisbury FC.
The 31 year old was one of six players to agree a new deal with the National League South side in May but was also made an offer by the Whites, who were promoted from Southern League West via the play-offs at the end of the season.
Former Gloucester City and Weston-super-Mare player Mullings has now accepted the offer to play at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium and has departed Hardenhuish Park.
Bluebirds boss Mark Collier, who this week signed former Bath City striker Nat Jarvis, said: "Darren explained to me that the travelling and training demands at Salisbury suited him better with his job and his coaching commitments at Bristol City.
"Darren's experience was vital to us last season and I wish him well at Salisbury".
