WILTSHIRE'S boys U10s had a victorious day at Steeple Langford, defeating Devon by seven wickets.

Bowling first, Wiltshire dismissed their opponents for just 79 and then knocked off the runs for the loss of three wickets.

The U11s were also victorious defeating Gwent by 83 runs. Wiltshire posted 242-6 thanks to a second century of the season from Flynn Gunston with 113.

In reply, Gwent could only manage 159 all out as James Redfern, Aryan Kuram and Charlie Carroll all took two wickets apiece.

There was a big victory for the boys U12s, who defeated Cardiff and Vale by 98 runs thanks to a century from Matt Falconer as Wiltshire posted 232-1 and then bowled out Cardiff for 134.

The boys U14s played Devon and won by 12 runs after posting 182-9 with 40s from Isaac Ashman and Toby Kershaw. Sam Giddings took 5-26 to dismiss Devon for 170.

The U15s fell to defeat against Oxfordshire after making 162, Ed Wade top scoring on 29. Oxfordshire cruised home for the loss of just three wickets, Wade taking two of them.

The U17s' first outing of the season against a Gloucestershire Development side saw them lose by one wicket. Wiltshire posted 198-8 with Jack Stearman top scoring on 41, then taking two wickets as did Connor O’Shea.

The girls U15s fell to defeat against Dorset, Charlotte Moore taking 3-18 as Dorset made 182-7 from their 40 overs. Wiltshire were out for 118, Emily Smith top scoring on 26.

The women were in T20 action, firstly against Devon who posted 195-3, Melissa Story taking 2-24. Wiltshire managed just 83-8 and in the second match against Cornwall, posted 82-8 thanks to 40 from Katherine Mills but Cornwall reached their target inside 15 overs.

The district North/South U13 programme continued at Bishops Cannings CC. The North district posted 282-4 from 35 overs as Finlay Fielder scored 96 not out, the South scoring 246-6 with Liam Carpenter scoring 60 and Fraser Hyslop scoring 64 not out.
