VALE of Pewsey will start their club’s bid to defend the Plaister Autos Wiltshire League Corsham Print Senior KO Cup with a home tie next season.

Pewsey Vale’s newly-renamed reserve side step in to the competition following the first team’s elevation into the Wessex League for the 2010-11 campaign.

Vale's senior team were 1-0 victors over Westbury United Reserves in last season’s final at Corsham Town FC.

But neither of last year’s cup finalists is in the competition this time, with Westbury United Reserves joining their counerparts from Melksham Town and Trowbridge Town in the Trowbridge & District League.

In the Fountain Trophies Junior KO Cup, new boys Marshfield – bossed by former Chippenham Town defender Shane Andrews – have been handed a first-round tie against Swindon Irons.
