5:00pm Friday 14th September 2012 in Sport
TROWBRIDGE Rangers (Sunday) will be looking to make it three wins on the spin in Division Four when they host Pig & Whistle United B at Whaddon Lane in Hilperton this coming Sunday.
James Goddard’s side have looked impressive in their opening two games, but they will have to at their best for the visit of a United side who caused an upset last time out by beating the much fancied FC North Wilts side.
It may be early days but if they can repeat the form of their first two games Rangers should take the points in this one.
Oakhill, who were unable to raise a team last weekend, are set for a derby day showdown against FC United of Chippenham, who kicked off their campaign with a win over Melksham Cosmos a week ago.
United will be favourites to claim back-to-back wins, but Bernie Court’s Oakhill side could upset the form book if the get 11 players to turn up at Stanley Park.
Worton & Cheverell will be hoping it will be a case of third time lucky when the welcome Melksham Cosmos to their West Lavington base.
Chris Coles' hosts have conceded 17 in two games and they will be looking to shore up their leaky defence ahead of their meeting with Melksham, or they could be heading towards a third straight loss as the visitors look for win number two.
