DIVISION ONE: BWH beat Bromham to claim first win
2:30pm Monday 17th September 2012 in Sport
THE only game in Division One saw Biddestone White Horse defeat Bromham (Sunday) for a third successive game.
But they had to come from behind to claim their fist win of the season against their hosts who finished the game with 10 players.
Danny Powell put Bromham ahead but they saw their chance of victory severely damaged on 30 minutes when they had Rob Sandiford sent off for a second bookable offence.
With a man advantage in the second half Biddestone got back on level terms, Matt Thompson rifling home a superb 25 yarder which went in off the underside of the bar to make it 1-1.
Dan King put Biddestone in front when he scored from the penalty spot after Connor McCarron had been brought down.
Dan King converted an Ed Jones cross to make it 3-0 and King turned provider for Biddestone’s fourth when his ball found Tom Lye who scored from 15 yards to finish of the morning’s scoring.
