PREMIER DIVISION PREVIEW: Derby day shootout at The Conigre

THERE may be only one fixture in the S.K. Fruits Limited Chippenham Sunday League Premier Division this weekend, but it couldn’t get any bigger as the Conigre home of Melksham Town is set to stage the first-ever meeting between fierce local rivals AFC Melksham and FC Jager .

Despite never playing each other, the two teams have formed a strong rivalry and this should provide a pulsating match with both sides desperate not to lose.

A bumper crowd is expected at the The Conigre after the match was switched from Christie Miller.

AFC Melksham have started the season extremely well and remain unbeaten, while FC Jager have only played once, beating Semington 4-1 on the opening day.

The formbook will go out of the window for this one however, with the Melksham bragging rights at stake.
