BOBSLEIGH: Duo lead GB charge

TROWBRIDGE pilots Paula Walker and John Jackson will again spearhead Great Britain’s challenge in the Bobsleigh World Cup series this winter.

The Paxcroft Mead duo took part in selection races in Latvia this week, with Jackson confirmed to lead the men’s GB 1 crew that achieved a top 10 finishes at last year’s World Championships and World Cup series as well as podium finishes in the Europa Cup series.

Former world junior champion Walker will continue her two-man pairing with former world champion Gillian Cooke, with Kelly Denyer also joining the women’s crew.
