PREMIER DIVISION PREVIEW: Semington and Bug seek first league win

SEMINGTON Rovers and Bug & Spider FC currently find themselves languishing in the bottom three of the S.K. Fruits Ltd Chippenham Sunday League Premier Division, so when the teams meet at Littlemarsh this weekend they will be hoping that they can collect a first league win of the season.

Bug won both meetings last term and they will be firm favourites to claim a third successive win over Allan Clarke’s side.

FC Jager are looking to bounce back following their narrow loss to defending champions Biddestone Social last weekend, when they host Westbury Rangers on Sunday.

Westbury themselves suffered a narrow loss to Social a few weeks ago, so this should provide another close game.

Both Jager and Westbury know that a win is vital to keep pace with Biddestone and a loss at this stage will leave them playing catch-up.

The two teams face off again the week after, in the reverse fixture so whichever team comes out on top over the two games will potentially have the upper hand in the title race.

Defending champions and current leaders Biddestone Social have been left with a free weekend due to scheduled opponents FC Colerne not being able to raise a team for the trip to Yatton Road.
