THE mouthwatering clash in Division Two this weekend is the game at Atworth where leaders Staverton and Goatacre CC put their unbeaten records on the line.

Staverton are unbeaten in five, dropping just one point from a possible 10, while Goatacre have won all three of their matches.

If previous meetings between the sides are anything to go by this should be another thriller.

Goatacre have a great record against their hosts having lost just once in four meetings but they will have to be at their best to claim another win as this game has draw written all over it.

Southwick Wanderers will be looking to end their three match losing run when they lock horns with Chippenham West End in what will be Wanderers first home league game of the campaign.

West End are unbeaten in four and in that time they have taken points off promotion hopefuls Staverton and Somerford.

A close game is predicted with Wanderers tipped to get at least a point from the game.

Bottom of the table Wren FC will need a miracle if they are to end their four-match losing run when they host Somerford as their guests have already beaten them 5-2 this season.

Spike Chandler’s village side should have few problems in beating their hosts for a second time with a win they desperately need to get their promotion challenge back on track after failing to win their previous two games.
