TWO of the Division Four newcomers are set to meet at Kington Langley this Sunday and for hosts Oakhill, who are currently bottom of the table they will have the chance to get their first points on the board when they entertain second-from-bottom Worton & Cheverell (Sunday), who will be looking to bounce back from their Sunday Cup mauling last weekend.

This could be a high scoring game which Oakhill are tipped to win.

Crossblades, fresh from their first win of the season last Sunday play hosts to FC North Wiltshire, who only two weeks ago beat them 6-1 in the reverse fixture and North Wilts will again be favourites to take maximum points from Tim Chilton’s side.

Simon Gray was tormentor-in-chief for North Wilts in the previous game and the former Corsham Centre man is expected to play a part in what should be another comfortable win.

After opening the season with back-to-back wins, FC United of Chippenham have gone off the boil a little and have suffered successive defeats.

Next up for Dudley Philpott’s men is home game against a Sportzcoach Dragonz United side who have won their two outings to date.

Dragonz greater experience should see them extend their winning run to three games with what ought to be a straightforward victory.

Pig & Whistle United B have to travel to Goatacre for what should be a local derby with Melksham Cosmos who, due to a shortage of pitches in the Melksham area, have set up base 14 miles away from home.

United are currently in second spot and Cosmos are just below them in the standings so on paper this looks as if it will be an equally matched contest which has a very good chance in ending with honours being shared.

Trowbridge Rangers (Sunday) are another of the newcomers who got off to a flyer, but after two successive victories Michael Goddard’s side have lost their way and three straight defeats have seen them plummet down the standings.

For their latest game Rangers welcome table topping Old Road to Whaddon Lane and unless they can find the magic which was their at the start of the season the home side will slump to another defeat.
