Atwood wins with all-carp catch
COMPETITORS in the Viaduct Wednesday open match again enjoyed excellent
sport, with carp feeding well.
Paul Atwood, of Carps AC, carried off top prize with a carp catch weighing
143lb 15oz, taken on straight lead fished pellets.
Graham Perkins, of Sensas Viaduct, clinched second prize with another carp
catch weighing 124lb 5oz, taken alternating with pole-fished pellets and
sweetcorn.
He was followed by Andy Neal, of Maggots End, with another carp catch
weighing 120lb 1oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
Other placings: 4 Lee Werret, Fox MG, 112lb 10oz; 5 Paul Garrett, Maver
Veals, 104lb 10oz; 6 Paul Greenwood, Sensas Viaduct, 95lb 6oz.
