Frome angler tops at Viaduct Fishery
THE Carps AC open match at Viaduct Fishery once again produced plenty of
action, with carp still feeding well.
Jamie Smith, of Frome, won with a carp catch weighing 110lb 8oz, taken
alternating with pole and waggler fished pellets. Runner-up was Martin Dark,
of Avon Angling, with a carp catch weighing 106lb 10oz, taken on long
pole-fished pellets.
He was followed by Andy Neal, of Maggots End, with a carp catch weighing
99lb 1oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
Other placings: 4 Mark Preston, Sensas Viaduct, 92lb; 5 Steve Denmead,
Frome, 91lb 9oz; 6 Steve Hatter, Fox MG, 85lb 12oz.
