Chippenham angler tops at Hordle Lakes
THE Wilts Angling open match fished at Hordle Lakes on Sunday produced good
catches of carp.
Rob Kepner, of Chippenham, won with a carp catch weighing 133lb 4oz, taken
on pole-fished paste.
Gary Etheridge, of Devizes, pushed the winner hard to take second prize with
a carp catch weighing 114lb 9oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
In-form Nathaniel Johnson, of Melksham, was third with a carp catch weighing
102lb 6oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
Other placings: 4 Pete Neate, Holt, 92lb; 5 Ian Willietts, Bradford, 80lb
10oz; 6 Dave Bancroft, Trowbridge, 70lb 2oz.
