Big carp haul at Todber Manor
THE Wilts Angling open match fished at Todber Manor on Saturday produced
some fine nets of carp.
In-form Jamie Smith, of Frome, won with a carp catch weighing 190lb 4oz,
taken on pole-fished paste.
Chris Blake, from Salisbury, was second with a carp catch weighing 140lb
10oz, taken on pole-fished pellets and paste. He was followed by John Gray,
from Salisbury, with a carp catch weighing 100lb 4oz, taken on pole-fished
pellets.
Other placings: 4 Ian Willietts, Bradford, 100lb 2oz; 5 Gary O'Shea, Preston
Innovation Thatchers, 91lb 4oz; 6 Nick Collins, Wincanton, 67lb.
