Veteran wins at Landsend Fishery
THE Carps AC match fished at Landsend Fishery produced reasonable catches.
Top spot went to Bathampton veteran Colin Golding, with a carp catch
weighing 72lb 3oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
Dave Wride, of Sensas Thyers, was second with a carp catch weighing 63lb
12oz, taken on pole-fished sweetcorn and pellets. He was followed by Mike
Nicholls, of Bathampton, with a carp and silver fish catch weighing 60lb
12oz, taken on pole-fished sweetcorn and casters.
He also won the silver fish prize with a weight of 46 lb 0 oz.
