Rod makes local knowledge count
WEIGHTS were well below their best in the midweek open match at Landsend
Fishery.
Venue specialist Rod Wooten, of Dynamite Frys MG, carried off another good
win with an all-carp catch weighing 50lb 14oz, taken on long pole fished
pellets. Dave Westcott, of Landsend, was second with a carp catch weighing
45lb 8oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
He was followed by Mark Duckett, of Landsend, with a carp catch weighing
31lb. Clint Wojtyla finished in fourth place with a weight of 21lb 14oz,
which included a silver catch of 19lb, which took the silver fish award.
